Over 422 items were collected for Friend Inc, during our Harvest Home Collection.

Thank You to all who donated.

 

 

700 Dumplings, 125 Tarts and 422 Apple Crisp were made by members of the congregation for our Annual Apple Sale September 28, 2025.

28 backpacks, over 178 other school supplies and $300.00 were collected for Friend Inc.

 

Over 4o people attended our annual outdoor service July 27, 2025 at Leaser Lake.  After the service a potluck lunch was served then it was time for kayaking and other games.

Sunday June 8, 2025 Karl Lampart, Elliana Kurtz and Brian Bauscher were confirmed, and became full members of the church. Congratulations to all of you. 

 

The Red Road Friends Band Preformed Easter Sunday 4/20/25

 

 

 

The congregation filled 62 Easter boxes for the victims of Hurricane Helene in North Carolina.  Some of the boxes were for kids some for teens and yes some for adults.  In the boxes you might find candy, toys, personal care items, batteries and other small essential items.  The boxes were delivered to North Carolina by Chester and Betty Ann.

Over 400 quarts of Pot Pie along with Pepper Cabbage and Fresh Fruit Salade were made by members of Friedens Church.  A profit of $6,192.00 was made, all of which will go to people in need in North Carolina.  Thank You to all who helped with this project.

Fun was had by all at the Ice Cream Social & Game Night held Sunday February 16, 2025.  Sponsored by Friedens Lutheran and LSO. 

 

 

 

You the congregation of Friedens donated 177 items of soup, other food items and essential non-food items and $492.50 for Souper Bowl Tackel Hunger.  

Then in March you donated another $150.00

 

 

 

 

 

 

In 1 weeks’ time, 12/8 – 12/15, over 40 Stockings were stuffed by members of the congregation and friedens of the congregation for victims of Hurricane Helene. 

Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.2 Corinthians 9:7  

For an Advent project some of the ladies, with a little help form the Confirmation class, collected and made quilts and blankets for the people in need.  These blankets will be going down to North Carolina, through NALC Disaster Response, for victims of Hurricane Helene. 

47 Blankets/Quilts, 2 Pillows and 1 Sleeping bag have been sent and still counting

Our annual Apple Dumpling, Apple Tart & Apple Crisp sale was held September 14th. 800 Dumplings, 120 Tarts & 210 Crisp were sold to support the Church.

Our Outdoor Service

Fredens Lutheran Church held its annual outdoor service July 28th at Leaser Lake.  With 40+ people attending the Worship Service led by Chuck Scharadin, the lectors were Naomi, Elliana and Shiphrah, music was supplied by Barb and Rob.  After the service a picnic lunch was enjoyed by all then an afternoon of kayaking and games took place.  If you were not there you missed a good time. 

 

Thanks to the generosity of our congregation 25 backpack and a lot of other school supplies were collected for Friend Inc.  All the backpack, as well as those of our youth, were blessed and a tag was attached. 

 

 

Fun was to be had by all, as they learned that they have a friend in Jesus.  At this year’s VBS SCUBA diving into friendship with God.  Held June 24 – 28 at Mt. Zion.
