Our Mission

Friedens Lutheran church is committed to uplifting the community by working with charitable organizations volunteering our time and with charitable donations.

Friedens Church has always “reached out to serve others”, part of our Mission Statement.  In 2024 we donated over $11950 to families in need and other local, national and international charitable organizations.

In addition to this we sponsor 3 food drives, a backpack & school supply drive and an angel tree with 25 names through Friend Inc.  The congregation also filled over 40 Christmas Stockings for victims of  Hurricane Helene in North Carolina.

So far this year we have donated over $30,700, sponsored 4 food drives and filled 65 Easter Boxes for Helen victims in North Carolina.

Thanks to the congregations generous giving, our current and loose offering during May with a little help from our MTSF account, we were able to donate $2,000 each to  watermission, Pastor Daga Gemachu and sharedhope international.
