Stained glass window in Friedens Lutheran Church

Friedens Lutheran Church of Stony Run is a small rural family oriented church located in Berks County PA.  At Sunday morning worship you will likely see 35 to 40 people (we would like to see this number go up), ranging in age from 8 to 70+.  We have been told that we are very friendly and welcoming to all.  We are a conservative, Bible based church focused on the Word of God, with Jesus as our cornerstone doing the work of God with the help of the Holy Spirit.  Part of doing God’s work is helping those in need, so we are a charitable church helping those in need locally, nationally and internationally.  We have a Sunday school program for both the youth and adults. And let’s not forget about fellowship, some say some of the best food found in any church and we do like to have a lot of fun.  So please come in some Sunday morning for Worship, 9:00 AM, stay for fellowship, 10:00 AM, and Sunday school, 10:30 AM, and see for yourself.

We are not alone! Jesus wants to break down the walls that divide us – walls of judgment, hatred, condemnation and violence – and has made us into one, new human community (Ephesians 2:14-15).
